Lisa photographed our last two books and did all the shots for our website - an indication of our commitment to her talent as a great photographer. Our relationship is simpatico! She is the person we turn to if we need a shot of something or someone, always managing to capture the intensity and determination of chefs in full swing. It’s hard to believe she does this - in a kitchen full of obstacles - without getting in the way. She just melts into the shadows: achieving great action shots, capturing the moment. And food is all about moments.
The quality of Lisa's work is very representative of who we are and reflects our standard. For her, no shot is too difficult, dangerous or time consuming. She continues in great humour until we are all happy with the shot.
Lisa is undoubtedly our Number One photographer and we insist on working with her whenever possible. She knows how a dish is meant to look and we never really need to explain anything to her. She just gets it!
