I have had the greatest privilege and pleasure working with Lisa Linder over a creative collaboration spanning more than 20 years. Lisa’s work is quite simply extraordinary. Her infectious and engaging personality inspires everyone on the team to achieve best in class. Lisa has a creative director's eye and ability to make the mundane look exquisite. She will regularly deliver images thinking ahead to the layouts. ‘Oh, I though you might need this background’, or ‘This could be great as a detail texture’. Quite often she will shoot before and after what we’ve commissioned; these pictures turn out to be the unscripted triumphs of the project. She sees the beauty in everything and pushes boundaries on every brief to over-deliver beyond all expectations. Our partnership began on the launch team of British Condé Nast Traveller, followed by House & Garden, and continued with five exciting books and two luxury wine and spirits magazines. Finally, Lisa has worked with me in my role as Creative Director for COMO Hotels and Resorts. She is what I call ‘a sure thing’ – you know what you will get back. And that’s not in a predictable, boring way. Quite the opposite. You are assured that the results will always be breath-taking, elevated and evocative.
